Hollyhush Books

Hollyhush Books is our imprint for children’s books. The name is a play on “hollyhock,” an enchanting, old-fashioned flower that grew in our grandmother’s garden, and “hush,” a word that conveys the idea of quiet time.

We hope you and the children in your life enjoy Hollyhush Books.

In a bright and busy garden, a story grows from just one tiny seed. This seed turns into a big, beautiful sunflower as time goes by and seasons change. Kids who visit the garden wonder if it’s just a weed or something special. They decide it’s special because it helps feed birds, bees, and even squirrels and rabbits with its seeds. This sunflower shows how everything in nature is connected and how a simple garden can be a place of wonder and friendship. The Sunflower’s Sharing Circle shares the magic of watching something grow and seeing how important it is to all the garden’s visitors.
